I'm building Imagine AI, based in San Francisco (though I often go to Berkeley for seminars). The question I'm obsessed with right now is how business relationships form, and whether you can build infrastructure that captures them.

I like studying the mechanics of how things work from a game-theoretic perspective. I find beauty in modeling complex and messy systems with simple abstractions. The fields I keep coming back to are

• behavioral economics,
• game theory,
• decision theory,
• and mechanism design.

I see life as an infinite game and I measure my success in how much impact I can bring to this world. I value collaborative and genuine friendships, and I dislike transactional relationships. I also consider myself to be a rationalist.
